Purchased from the original owner who had then passed it down to his kids until they’d finished with it.

Needs a bit of tlc and a wash but all good otherwise, looking forward to riding it this weekend..

Yes, I see what you mean now - very responsive and direct when you get going.

It took a bit of work this morning, front hub service, cables, degrease drivetrain, tiny bit of paint touch up and a good polish etc but got it to a decent standard.

Nice bit of kit really, but at 18” perhaps a smidge too small, I might offer it for sale in a while - see how it goes.

Glad it went to another retrobikerand for a song I think it may be a 1999.
Although the seller said no offers I threw one in as was going to Stanstead prior to the listing ending.

Ah, he said he bought it new in 1997 - but I guess maybe he mixed his dates up?
Yeah, what a score - I just chucked a bid in early doors - was fully expecting to get outbid at the last minute but it never happened.. I guess there are still bargains to be had after all!
