Bought as a frame, fork, groupset Combo last year to build for the other half however she went full suspension instead on 0%. So I have built this up with other parts I had left over from other bikes. Essentially the base is a frame, groupset and forks from a 2011 Hardrock Disc. Bike did no more than 20 dry miles before being broken for parts by the local LBS.
I put this together and then the LBS have setup the mechs and given it a once over so it is running perfectly.
Specification as follows
Frame: Specialized Hardrock 17.5" (Few small storage marks but nothing major)
Fork: Suntour XCT 80mm Travel
Brakes: Giant MPH Hydraulic discs Front and rear with good discs and pads
Wheelset: Alesa Discovery with Shimano M475 Hubs
Tyres: Maxxis Crossmark 2.1 (Folding)
F & R Mech: Shimano Altus (21 Gears)
Cassette: Brand New Shimano (7 Speed)
Shifters: Shimano Altus Rapidfire with Display
Crankset: SR Sunctour XCT
Bottom Bracket: Square Taper cartridge bearing
Stem: Truativ XR
Bars: Amoeba Risers
Pedals: Tioga Surefoot
Seatpost: Raceface XC Evolve
Seat: Specialised BG (Saddle pictured will be changed to the one listed)
