21" Kona Hot $250 Seattle Craigslist

LOL.:)
For $250 I could not pass this one up.
Please don't tell the wife or I am out on the street.:)
It is a little dusty but should clean up fine.
Here is a better photo.
Cheers.

I will post picks when I pick it up next week.:)
It is a 93 TET.
It's earlier than 93, I think 92 rather than 91. If it has Tange Ultimate tubes as stated, that would suggest 92 as the catalogue for that year shows that Teesdale used them a year before they were first used on the Explosif in 93. The 91 Hot was made just of Tange Concept, no Ultimate.

Will that Kona fit you? If it does, then surely the Nightstorm Attitude must be too small and needs another home. :D

I think the size remains to be determined, and it may not be quite as big as one might think. For a start, if the seat tube measures 20.75" c-t then that is a size 20, even though many owners would assume that it was a 21. Secondly I believe the 92 Konas were shorter than later years, so say it was a size 20 it would be the same length as a 1994 size 19. Combine that with what looks like a 17cm head tube there, pick a shorter stem and you might have a nice comfortable size for anybody size 19ish (i.e., 5-9 to 6-3) who likes the bars at a reasonable height. Which is most of us, as we grow older faster than the bikes do.
