Hi anyone :-) Would really appreciate anyones advice re: is a " GT Team Honda Limited Edition MTB any good ?" Sorry for the total ignorance, but I am an out & out road biker & I've just acquired 1 and have no idea if it's a decent model or just run of the mill ?

Thanks anyone, yours Laz.

Thanks BB :-) I'll repay the favour 1 day if you are stuck with ID on a road bike. Later buddy, Laz.

PS: I'll turf it straight out then :-) Thought £30 might be good for an MTB. Just shows you £30 won't buy me a set of pedals in my world, but it will buy a complete MTB ... albeit a very pants crap 1 LOL. I'll stay away from buying MTB stuff I think :-)

Some info of sorts:

Doesn't look the best bike tbh. £30 is a good price compared to the eBay sale price though.

Never heard of these before but 30 seconds of googling brings up an ebay ad and an old thread on here. From the ad it looks to be late 90s and pretty low end. But with a gt frame and, albeit budget, shimano drivetrain it won't be total junk.

Ideal winter going to town bike then :D you dont have to care or worry about it being locked up.

if its the alloy framed ones they are a collection of low end parts on a generic GT frame
being a GT frame it will be good , dispite the naysayers an alloy gt frame in the right size for you makes a good dirt bike ,fit some better stuff to it and enjoy

Thanks everyone :-) "Pants it is then" Thought GT frames where of a good calibre, but in my own world of bikes "it seems to be the equivelant of a Raleigh501 with pressed out parts, a to use & Toss it Away kinda bike".

Wish I had room in my brain to learn all this MTB stuff, but alas "fish & out of water" spring to mind :-) Appreciate the comments everyone. I guess its fair to say that if it was on offer in here for £30 no one would take it ( just like I see many a bike next door that wouldn't make it to my scrap box of bits). Thanks, Laz.

PS: Thanks Mikee, appreciate where you're coming from, but I have so many bikes, and this 1 doesn't seem to be worth the effort of keeping, tis nothing special ... despite its title :-) Wouldn't want to scrap a decent bike because I knew nought about it, hence me asking here. Later buddy, Laz.

if its an 18" or larger and you want 30 quid for it and you'll ship it
i'll buy it
well pending pics
