I am trying to get a drawing or an idea of how the spacers and washers go on the rear suspension pivot of my 1997 ish shoreline trail. I have new bearings and spacers as well as stainless steel Allen bolts all ready to fit when the paint is dried.
When I took it apart it had a variety of washers and a well stuck pivot rod. Now it is all out I have it cleaned but I am unsure of the best way to re assemble it.
With the bearings pressed into the rear triangle and the pivot through the frame do I need to make sure that when I tighten it all up the washers pinch the inner race on both sides of the bearing and then tighten the pivot so it presses against the frame of the front triangle. I am assuming the rear pivots on the inner race but cannot see the best way to fit it with minimal movement between the front and rear triangle.
Any advice would be most welcome
