£750 ono
Hi all,
Here is a run down of the spec before I go into details.
Frame: Balfa BB7 - powdercoated orange in summer 2012
Fork: Rockshox Boxxer Team 2008 - recent service, seal and oil change - good condition - rebound, hi/lo compression adjust
Shock: DSP Dueler - new Easter 2013 - hi/lo compression, rebound, bottom out air reserviour adjust.
Wheels: Superstar TechEvo wheelset - new winter 2012
Front Brake: Shimano Saint caliper on Shimano XT lever
Rear Brake: Shimano XT
Cranks: Truvativ Descendants - new BB summer 2013
Chainring: Shimano Saint 34t
Rear Mech: Shimano Zee Clutch
Shifter: Sram X5 9spd windowless.
Stem: Funn
Handlebars: Element Nickle Wide 780mm
Chainguide: E13 LG1
Seat: Charge Spoon
Some details:
This bike has been well looked after during the time I have had it.
It has the updated 8mm (instead of 6mm) pivot axle to help add stiffness and strength.
Offset shock bushings have been fitted. These slacken out the head angle and lower the bottom bracket to bring it geometry up to date.
Forks have been well serviced and feel really plush. There is a small area of rub low on the stanction from the previous owner but this does not effect the seals etc.
This is the bike the Zerode is based from. The high pivot results in a reward axle path that when matched with the DSP Dueler is amazing at eating the bumps.
This bike would make an excellent starter DH bike with its good performance and reliable parts as well as its excellent handling. I am 5ft 8 and it fits me perfect.
Any questions just send me a message.
Thanks
Iain
Would also consider a frame swap for xc/am full sus frame.
