These have 2 valves behind the cantilever mounts, is one for compression and the other for return or both for compression?

Thanks.

On Superflys they are both for compression. Rebound is adjusted at the bolt underneath the legs with a long hex wrench.

Are you sure the dampings not adjusted with a long allen key inside the legs after removing the top caps? like my Z3 flylights (also air sprung, but air valves on the top caps).

He was right the rebound is adjusted with a long Allen key from the bottom.

eh? you mean the air valves ?
That's your spring.

Neither compression nor rebound damping ;)

Rebound is the 2.5mm allen key in each leg.

Compression is altered by tweaking oil weight, the last thing you should alter anyway after you have air sorted and then rebound sorted at stock for your weight/riding style.

I hope I'm not hijacking, but focussing on the spring pressure, am I correct in recalling that Marzocchi used to sell a special pump calibrated for the lower pressures that they used compared to RockShox etc?

I want to increase sag on my 2000 X-Fly to get more travel. I can barely tell what the pressures are with my RS pump, but maybe c30lbs. The instruction manual gives no guide to recommended pressures, but does anybody have any suggestions based on their body weight? I weigh ten stones.

A low pressure shock would be better. I would about 30-35psi in each side, increase litle by little as a few psi can make a little difference. I have about 55psi in my mx pro cuz I am a bit of a lardy!
