Bontrager by Chris King Wheelset

Hi guys,

I have the opportunity of buying a Bontrager by Chris King Wheelset, black hubs with Bontrager racelite rims, and bontrager skewers (9 speed)

Anyone know much about them as i can't seem to find much info anywhere

Also, anyone got any idea of what i should be paying for them?

i'd treat them no different than a set of CK hubs quality and perhaps value wise.

they're still essentially king hubs, just slightly thicker spoke flanges to cope with radial spoke pattern.

Why less if they're the same hubs? Having Bontrager on them tarnishes the CK brand??? :?

Pretty much.

Not saying it makes a ton of sense, but the Bonty branded ones always seem to sell for lower than the "regular" CK hubs and wheelsets I've seen on the 'Bay over the last couple years. If the guy is looking to buy a set, that is a useful distinction $$-wise.
