Cannondale F900 frame, headshok forks, stem, seat clamp.

Hi i've got this forsale as i was going to build it into a xc bike but have decided to get something with rear suspension instead.

I got it a couple of months ago of a friend, its beileved to be a 97/98 F900, it measures 17inch from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. Its in pretty good condition for the year, couple of tiny chips but it is a old frame afterall but for its age even just built up it would look a really nice bike.

It comes with everything in the picture, maybe a seatpost if i can find the one i bought for it.

I'm based in York, willing to meet locally or i can get a price on posting it if needed, if anyone would like any photos of certain parts im happy to take some for them.

I'll be looking for around £100 for the frame and forks etc.

I do have some magura hs33's, some xt hubs on d521 rims that i could sell as i was going to fit them to this frame, there around a 00/01 year. the front rims is abit worn on the brake surface and the rear to be honest could do with a new rim as its abit oval and has a spoke missing, but might be of interest to someone.

wow, that's in very tidy condition
I'm running one of these frames in a singlespeed, and I love it to bits.
If I had a bit more cash (or the price was a bit lower ) I'd snap this right up off you.

I may well be wrong but looks more like a 95/96 model with the canti hanger.

You could be right, i was just told 97/98 when i bought it, also i checked vintagecannondale and from the headtube sticker it reckons its made between 97/99 as that logo was used for 3years. Obviously it could of been painted with newer stickers i guess, they are laquerd over but im guessing there laquerd over at the factory ?

I agree, I had a 1999 F900 and that came disk brake only

Just checked the vintage cannondale site, it shows how to find the year its made, the 2 Letters on the bottom bracket code, i carnt make it all out but can make and I out which apparently I=97.
