Retro Newbie
hi there

I found topics about thron and other tubings, but not about the batches of the very late 1990's columbus prod.

I own an stunning Look Kg 243 in Columbus Neuron wich is actually my main road bike (neo retro build, campa record 9sp with eurus 2016).
http://veloretrocourse.proboards.com/thread/1486/kg-243

The frame is branded Look (french) but made by billatos brothers in Padova - , and it rides great, as far as i can say.

Curiously, i found very few information about the tubing Columbus Neuron, except it was introduced in 1996, it is nivacrom alloy (cold ou hot drawn?), and it is quite lighweight tubing.

But where does it come within the columbus hierarchy of this period? When does columbus stop the production ? Any infirnatoin about tensile strenght or catalog of the period ?
Thx

Not quite as out there as Nemo, but IMHO one of the better round section tubesets made.

Short 60mm butts
Down tube and seat tube butts ovalised to put more material top and bottom of the tube.
