Dawes bike pump

I've been sorting out an old Dawes frame from the 1950's but need some help. I'm trying to find out what sort of pump would've come with the original frame or would've been common around that time. The fixings for the pump are on the underside of the top tube and measure 18" between points.

I would have thought the usual one would be a Bluemels, probably in aluminium.

More likely bluemels white celluloid, which changed to plastic in the 1950s.
Dawes at that time was most likely sold as a complete bike, so may well have had a cheaper pump.
