FS: 1994 Giant Chaos 20/21" MTB with 1993 XT/DX

Morning all,

For sale is my great purple 1994 Giant Chaos with DX/XT kit.

It has been used as a baby carrier for the past year but Jnr has outgrown his seat and I need the garage space now!

Frame in reasonable used condition. Usual scuffs, scratches and some paint damage. No rust but a small dint on the side of the top tube from over zealous bar turning.

Bought as frame and forks and then transplanted all the kit from a 1993 Marin Pine Mountain onto it. The PM was tiny sized so a worthy donor.

Kit:
Bontrager bars
Bontrager stem
XT Dual Brake and Shifters
ODI grips
XT Brakes
DX Crankset
XT Rear mech
XT Front mech
DX Hubs - Will check what Mavic rims they are.
Generic tyres.

All running well but could do with a service. Gears need indexing and rims could benefit from a true. Four spokes were replaced on the rear wheel when I bought it. It's a lovely bike and been great for baby carrying purposes.

I'll upload pictures and exact measurements when I return home later.

Right time to update with some better details:

Ok, checked it over and probably better to say fairly well used condition. Plenty scratches, scuffs and stone chips. Only dent is a very shallow one on the top tube.

I changed it to single front ring but i'll include:

Sadly not, was a cool bike though and I would have gone full-klunker on it now if I still had it.
