I've been through most of my old catalogues and only managed get as far back as 2000 for my GT ones although it does have one STS 1000 in there if that's any good to you?

Pretty sure this is online at Mtb-Katalogue.de, it's all in German but it won't matter because I don't think there's detailed specs in there.

Would've done it myself but I don't have the link on this computer.

Not quite the right year though.


Are we sure of the year? Bikepedia shows 1999 to be the first year of the carbon XCR frame, so unless GT did a year of STS' & XCR's together, someone's got a date wrong. :?

Here's the page from the 99 Interbike catalog. It's just called the STS 1000 in the 99 catalog. The STS-1000DS was a 1998 model specs here:

Fellas.....your great! I may have a year drift on the info I was given. Im going to take a look at serial numbers next to see what that tells me. I saw the '98 catalogue on mtb-kataloge....not seen the Bikepedia links though so thanks for those.

I am just after an original setup to show the colour scheme I have (for my 'files')!
