Help: Pace RC31 Rigids: What A-C Lengths??

As per the title: I fancy some Pace RC31 rigid carbon forks.

But what axle-to-crown lengths did they make in 26-inch size?
Only 420mm and 440mm?

It's for a 1998 Hei-Hei, BTW.
So I do NOT want to turn it into a floppy chopper [] by fitting a stupid-long fork.

What are my options?

Thanks!

What's a 98 Hei Hei set up for? 80mm fork?

To my knowledge RC31 only came in 420 and 440mm A-C lengths.

If it helps, my frames that are set up for 80mm forks run the 420mm version very happily. Did have the 440 on one for a bit and it looked a bit odd, but wasn't too bad.

My 04 SID's are 445mm A-C when locked out and when not, i run them quite high pressured so there's not much sag (maybe 5mm-10mm). Hence the 420mm version does feel a little lower at the front end than a SID.

I would imagine a 420mm one would look fine on a Hei Hei. A Mate's got one on a Bonty RL and it looks fine on that.

Scans Retrobike archive... Yes, it seems like.

Thanks for all the first-hand info - That's a big help.

pics of 80mm frame with 420's on. Obviously all frames differ, but this is quite a similar shape to many a hei hei (18in)

Indeed. Looks OK to me.
Thanks!
