How do you get rid of white powder on new tyres?

Like the title says, I'm trying to rub off what I can with my thumb but I can't get in all the tread. I thought about trying to blast it off with the jet washer but I doubt that will cut it as it's more of a rubber substance rather than dust

Any suggestions guys? Cheers

hahaha.... this^^^. but if you're not trying to ride them, probably just soap and water, with a scrub brush should do it. i know the residue you're talking about.

If you're not going to ride it?! Why would you buy new tyres for a bike you're not going to ride?

The white stuff is probably just release agent from the moulding process, so as mentioned already a good scrub with warm soapy water should work, but a good ride off-road would be better

Re:

ive used an old tooth brush, no soapy water or anything because you cant see what your cleaning off, but dry it has worked a treat.... im too impatient to ride until it comes off
