Kona front cantilever brake hanger.

Are these realy hard to get hold of?
The hanger that bolts onto the forks for the brake.

I have not seen many being sold individually. Bit like dog collars when they do come up they are usual pretty step if the seller knows what they are. I tend to stick v's onto my bikes but would never part with the brake hanger just in case.

Might be worth looking out for a set of p2's with one on. Buying it then selling the fork on as p2's always sell with or with out.

Just use a Tektro power hanger from SJS Cycles, they're much more robust and improve brake performance no end. You can also use them on the rear for frames without a canti' hanger. You can also find a Tektro brake booster on ebay, in a choice of colours, with a built-in power hanger...

...the reason people took off the Kona hanger, other than to fit V's, was because they were rubbish!
