Liberia bikes / RMO

Good morning folks,

Was wondering about Liberia bikes. I remember Marc Madiot riding to victory at the 1991 Paris-Roubaix on one but that's all. There are a few about on ebay but I don't know much about them. Were they made under license by another company? Maybe Gitane or Peugeot? Does anyone here have one? They did look cool in the green and white team colours. I'm guessing they probably had Mavic groupsets too. Any knowledge would be gratefully received.

French bikes made by a company called MFC in Grenble with some history. They went bust in the early nineties unfortunately. Those 1991 season RMO-Liberia bikes were 753 with full mavic groupsets, fabulous...
