The time has come to say goodbye to my girlfriends bike.
It was bought new in December 2007, just as they were releasing the 2008 model. It was the colour, spec and size that made her select the late 2006 model as it was more attractive.
She has admitted that trying to join me on my rides has been fruitless and she hated every second of it. We only rode 5 miles of bridleways on 2 seperate dry occasions!!
The bike is woman specific geometry, as the main triangle is quite small.
The centre to top seat tube is 14 inches, the top tube centre to centre is 20 inches and the chain stays are 16.5 inches. Really, it would suit a young lad as well I guess, as my girlfriend is 5'3'' and there's loads of room.
The spec is as follows...

Frame: Alpha SLR Aluminum.
Stays: Alpha SLR Aluminum w/replaceable hanger.
Fork: Manitou Axel Elite w/preload, TPC Lockout, 80mm.
Wheels: Shimano M475 disc hubs; Bontrager Camino alloy rims.
Tyres: Bontrager Jones ACX, 26x2.2".
Shifters: Shimano Deore.
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore.
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT.
Crankset: Shimano Alivio 44/32/22.
Cassette: 11-34, 9 speed.
Pedals: Alloy platform. Saddle: Bontrager Select.
Seatpost: Bontrager Select.
Stem: Bontrager Select.
Handlebar: Bontrager Select, 25mm rise.
Headset: Aheadset Slimstak w/semi-cartridge bearings, sealed.
Brakeset: Hayes sole hydraulic discs

A really nice bike that pains me to put up for sale, but it's just getting in the way now. The photos tell you just how unused this little bike is.

I will ship anywhere in the world, but costs will vary.

£350 posted Open to discuss reasonable offers.
