I wonder whether anybody has any experience of these bars, because they're so light that I'm wondering whether they're for real?
They weigh 125g (56cm wide), and that makes them the lightest bars I've owned, including carbon. Ritchey ForceLite weigh 176g and that's fairly standard for aluminium bars. OK, the ForceLite is made of 6061 and the ProLite is made of EA70, but the difference in strength per weight between those two materials is nothing like 176:125. Obviously I don't know how thick they are in the middle, but the ProLite is about 0.7mm at the ends, the ForceLite 1.3mm. So I won't be fitting bar ends to the ProLite!
It may be that these ones have had the good fortune to find the only rider on earth who is too feeble to break them, but did ProLite WCS have a reputation for snapping BITD?
