Rock Shox Indy XC or SL

Hey,

I'm after a set of Rock Shox Indy SL (ideally) or XC forks for my son's 24" wheel Zaskar. 1 1/8" and Aheadset type with around 150mm steerer length.

My plan is to try and drill the dropouts to fit the small wheels. Apparently it is possible with the Indy forks!

What about a quadra 21? Precursor to the Indy and a damn sight better looking if you ask me....
Indeed better looking. However, the benefit (apparently) of the Indy is that the whole dropout area is a solid casting, so strong enough to drill out a dropout to fit 24" wheels.

The more expensive RS forks either have forward mounted dropouts (Judy, for instance) or hollow inline dropouts (Mag at least, and probably Quadra). So, no good for messing about with.

Thanks Rick, that is indeed the sort of thing.

I think I'll keep looking to see if there are any SLs available as a) the preload is easier to adjust, b) they're a bit lighter, and most importantly c) the yellow just looks right with the Zaskar!
