SARACEN Hardtrax MTB mountain bike. Made in England back when Saracen produced really decent bikes. 90s silver and purple HARDTRAX frame, Some very unique frame details, 3 x top tube cable runs, rear brake hanger, tapered chainstays.
TANGE Chromoly custom tubing, good condition frame, no dings, good paint work, unoriginal decal on head tube. Shimano Alivio caliper front brakes, Tektro rear V-Brakes recently fitted. Quick release front wheel and quick release seat post.
Continental sport contact slick tyres in reasonable condition. Selle italia saddle but with a small tear. Saracen stem and Kalin seat post. ETRTO 559 rims with Shimano PARALAX Hubs. Alu riser bars. MKS pedals, one of which is broken, but it still rides.
Shimano gears, could do with replacing but the bike rides. Great frame, the rest needs a bit of TLC. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY UNLESS YOU WANT TO ORGANISE THE COURIER. HERTFORDSHIRE.

Love that you've done a proper job of a detailed listing, with decent pics, and then when you reach the end you're only asking thirty quid for the bike.
Quality 8)
Fifty times better than some people asking fifty times as much.

Hope it goes quickly to a caring new home for you!
Pete
(currently annoyed by crap, no picture, no detail listings )
(not usually on here I should add, RetroBikers are (veryverynearly) all ace, obviously...)

Good price. If I could pick it up I definitely would have done so, but I'm in Belgium... :? :)
-free bump-

Many thanks boys,

I appreciate the encouragement, tell your sisters what a top bloke I am.

Boothy.

Sounds reasonable,

I'll have to buy a bike box I assume, so I may have to pop that cost on top of the price, but I'm happy to box it if you want to sort a courier. Although, it does mean I can only be at home at the weekend when they pick up.

I think the size is 18in, I'll have to double check, but it feels in the realm of 18-19in.

I'll measure up tonight and you can let me know.

Cheers.

Boothy.

Fair enough just wondering.

Would take it for sure if you lived nearer. Itching to get a saracen.

If you ask nicely at halfords they will usually give you a bike box if they've not chucked them all out
