All the parts. This is a right hand, rear dérailleur shifter.

The starting point for rebuilding the shifter.

Add the copper washer and some grease.

Grease the steel return spring and install it.

There are two parts to add here, the plastic cable carrier and the outer metal ratchet. Add the plastic cable carrier first, then grease the outer part of the ratchet and add it to the assembly.

At this point I added the cable guide and adjuster to support the assembly, so that I could get a better view for taking pictures.

Put the inner part of the ratchet assembly together. There is one body, one spring, two pawls, and three pins.

Install the inner ratchet assembly in the outer ratchet body, and pack it with grease.
