I have a problem, although I'm convinced that it's more a problem with the human, not the steel mountain bike component
I bought one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380433062...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_2133wt_845
Am I right in thinking that these should be installed using a fork or headset mounted cable hangar?
I have fitted it already and inserted the brake cable outer into the internal bar stem hole, whenever i pull the brake lever after installation the brake cable outer is pulled through the bar stem and pops out the underside. Should i push the brake cable outer all the way through the bar stem then run it through a cable hangar?
Never used this type of bar stem before, have had T-Bone's in the past but not this internal cable type.
Thanks in advance.
