TREK Mountain Track 820

Hello everyone!

I am very new here in this forum and I just wanted to introduce myself very briefly: I am from Sweden, living in Hamburg/Germany since almost 15 years and I love everything that counts as "retro", especially bikes. I just wanted to show my TREK 820 - very faithful, runs like a clock and still in a quite good condition. I am very excited about being here at Retrobike and I look forward to dig into all the topics from all of You! Cheers

Welcome...Ah, trek 800 series. My first true mtb was an 830 antelope, followed by an 830 mountain track, the first and only bike I every had stolen..bummer. Like you mentioned, both were very dependable and fun to ride. I like how your top pic has an optical illusion , at least to me, where it looks like the chain is angling up towards the cassette. I had to blow the pic up to see that it's a spoke making it look like that. Cheers
