Wanted Specialist SportRock M2000

Hi Everyone

First post. Im looking for a bike I used to own model is Specialized SportRock M2000 from the mid 90's.

This was the entry level Specialized below the Hardrock.

Colour is black with red lettering.

Ideally frame size needs to be 17". No large size frames.

I dont want to pay much, just want it for riding with my son who is learning to ride his bike.

I bought a 93 Specialized Hardrock Ultra from them via eBay this week and asked them if they've got anymore Specialized bikes in, they've got a Sportrock all serviced and ready to go (although I don't know what size it is).

It's not on eBay yet but give them a call to find out. I found them to be absolutely brilliant; the bike I bought is a dream and they sent it via overnight courier. I would highly recommend them, and to be honest I'm thinking of buying the Sportrock if the size and price are right, but I will happily stand aside if you want it

Did you ever find one? I found a really original one recently I was going to restore but would be happy to pass it on. 17” too.

It looks like quite a bit of work. Is the rust deep. Please can you confirm where you are based.
