What Carrera is it

I've had this Carrera for years, was always a second bike as it was only about £350/400 must have been in 98ish, but I removed the decals (hated bikes with decals on) but now cannot remember what model it was and cannot seem to find it anywhere - does anyone on here have a clue what model Carrera it is.

Colours are original.

Still like the look of it all these years on and has great forks too!

Manitou forks and rear canti hanger would suggest its much earlier than 1998.

My dodgy memory is having me believe its a 93. I remember getting my carrera the previous year and the new models looking so much more modern.

it's 93 colours they did 2 models 1 with a flex stem which was a flex quest and the other had suspension on front which i think was a shock quest not 100% sure on that though. I've still got my flex quest but needs a bit of tlc.

I guess it could have been as early as 93/94 that would have made me 16/17 so ye guess it was! Time flies when your having fun!

The Manitou's were added at a later date, it came with some crap heavy silver shox, which I still have also - the bike it's self is in really good nick for its age too.

Still interested to find out more on it, if anyones has any old catalogues etc.

My wife just uses it on the road from time to time - so if anyone has an idea of what I could get for it - I could sell it and buy something else for her a bit smaller! or just keep it!

It's an 18".

1993 Carrera Quest.

Would have had a full Alivio group, Kalloy 26.2mm seat post, heavy steel bars and random Amber wall chinese tyres.
