I know that one of you is going to help me out here.
Claud Butler Exon from the mid nineties I think: frame number is 59W120L0 stamped on bottom bracket.
The bike is identical in appearance and spec to the '95 Enduro but does not appear in the '95 catalogue. I can't seem to find any CB catalogues in the archive section
Many thanks and Happy New Year to all of you :D

93/94 rings a bell we used to sell loads of claud butlers. does it have mettalicy backed graphics or vinyl stickers?

Thanks for the reply. The stickers (what remains of them) are a sort of chromed outline of the letters (large capitals) through which the finish of the frame (frosted titanium  )shows. They're not lacquered or clear coated at all. I've tried to take pics but the camera's not focusing and the phone's not up to it.

i would say 94/95m then as they changed the graphics then. we sold an own brand called radford in those 2 years and they were rebadged claud butlers and i remember the exon being the same as one of the radfords. it was around the 230 pound mark if i remember rightly

Thanks for your help - yup, Altus C90 stuff of which the wheels, front mech and brakes have survived, low end but all the same I'm going to enjoy building it up and better still - riding it. The frame's in reasonable nick (Reynolds Cr-Mo) if you look beyond the dreadful state of the decals so I'll see if I can get some made up.

Hi Fluffy - I've got the CB catalogue for '95 which I'll gladly scan for you or if you'd rather do it yourself PM your address and I'll post it to you. Strange that there aren't any already in the Archive.
