Taiwan as in where they build excellent bike frames in modern well-equipped factories staffed by highly-skilled, hard-working Chinese people. Of course it would be far better if they were made in some shed in the USA by bolshy white men with hangovers.

Late-model VooDoo Bizangos have M numbers too incidentally.

I never asked the specifics of where the factories were. i had a conversation with Marin and they told me that the factories were on contract to build the bikes and had to meet strict standards of build, working environment etc.
There were several according to Marin, and they would regularly assess them.
Give ATB Sales a call and ask them for more info. They've been really helpful with me in the past.
