Here for sale is my Cannondale M800 Beast Of The East frame from 1993.
It’s in fantastic condition but does have 1 very small ding on the top tube which I’ve tried to show in one of the pics (It actually looks worse than it is on the picture due to the chrome/unpainted finish of the frame). Very little by way of scratches and wear marks though as you can see in the other pictures. The original paint has been removed at some point in its life to provide the polished finish which looks fantastic.
Being a ‘Beast Of The East’ it’s classed as an 18” frame however the seat tube measures 16”. This is due to the BB being 2” higher which was specific just to this model (it was designed to give more ground clearance when tackling more technical riding- rock gardens etc). The frame also comes with the original 1 1/4 Pepperoni forks. The stem has been corked at some point in its life which suggests there will be no water ingress in to the steerer tube like so many of this era of bike. There is also no evidence of corrosion anywhere. It’s in lovely condition and will make a great bike for someone once fully built up!
