I have seen two more basic versions sell for about £280. They had no XTR. No harm is starting a bit high and gauging interest but I think something like this in good condition would be in the ballpark of £350-400 but there are other things that determine the price. You have not given much info about the bike like its overall condition in terms of how worn/used the parts are (except the brakes need bleeding). No one wants to buy something and begin immediately replacing stuff unless the price is a really good bargain.

Hi, this Marin Alpine Trail has been donated to a charity (St. David’s Hospice) where my brother works…
Any help putting a value on it as it will be sold to help raise funds for the charity. It appears barely ridden….

Anyone have any ideas how much is this worth. Had it since new but not ridden it for a good few years. All works well. Suspension broke so put a solid bar in its place just for temporary measures. Looking to sell on as no more room in shed but would like it to go to a good home that appreciates retro bikes...

It's spec is fairly low I'm afraid. I'd suggest around £50. You would get a bit more if split into parts, the most valuable parts are the front forks at maybe £25, and the tyres which look fairly new. I can't make out what the pedals are, but if they are DMR V8's then they might add a few more pounds to the total.
