But let's not forget, all you need is 2 desperate buyers and a dash of rarity. That specialized allez cost more than £1500 in real terms when it was new. It's not the same model, but with campag it's costing $5000 at modern prices

If those prices are viable, I can retire now. If however an early spesh allez carbon is worth 450 and a 600 tricolor r derailleur £35, then i carry on working until the state pension kicks in at 67, and probably beyond🤣
