rBoTM November RBotM - Theme - Tandems and Trikes - Enter Now!!!!!

Can I enter this, whilst it's actually owned by a friend of mine, he's isn't really on the net, and I'm inline to be the next custodian of it. It's a George Longstaff Snipe 3x2 ATT, absolutely dripping in retro goodness, fillet brazed 531, Pace RC36 with LX front V-brakes, a pair of Hope...

    York Cycle Rally 2026

Good luck with the Rally , I'm sure it will be well supported, especially considering the amount of time you've had to put in to make the move work. I attended last year's rally as a first timer, loved it, even coming home with another bike that I really didn't need. Unfortunately, I can't...

Ben's cycles and the Euro-asia imports stock buy out

Yeah, I watched the path less pedalled video last night which highlighted the sale, and the shear amount of stock that had - quite something!

For example, this mornings purchase A 1997 Orange P7, looks to be in original LX/STX spec, although with a charge spoon saddle.

From Joy to Despair - 853 Rock Lobster

Slowly, much slower than I planned, keep buying parts for it, but, keep buying other bikes too 😂 Although @idrisrugby, I do owe you a massive apology, mine is indeed a 27.0mm seatpost as you said, picked up a lovely red USE Alien on here a whole back, and it slips in so easily - I should have...

    Another Dawes Synthesis (Yeovil, Somerset)

There's a one near me up in Morpeth, Northumberland - but looks like a cheapo version of what they used to be. https://ebay.us/m/4pONdU

    Help identify rigid forks please

Picked these up at Recycle Newcastle yesterday as I liked the colour for a current project, but can't find anything about them out in Google land - any one help? Stamped as TranzX on the drop outs, Aliminuim, with a pressed in steel 1 1/8" threaded steerer, wheel catchers and double mudguard...

Tell us your predicted classics you can now buy for under £50 ?

Recently I've picked up an 853 Rock lobster for £50, a 631 Dawes Sardar for just over and the other day a 631 Dawes One Down f&f for free. I'm guessing steel ain't real for some anymore!

    Help identify Dawes 631 frame.

I believe this may have the same ding! Thats a rather random verse to have on the top tube, glad I can't read mine now! Here's my fork sticker the same as yours. I post I found on another forum suggested mine might be the earlier model in silver without the fork mounts.

    Help identify Dawes 631 frame.

By golly, I think you've got it 👌 I've just been out and checked, it is a 26" wheeled frame, not 700c! I think it's identical to yours except the colour obviously, same seat clamp, top tube cable guides etc, etc, the only difference I can note it that my forks haven't got low rider rack...

    Help identify Dawes 631 frame.

Just picked this up today, but I can't work out what it is. Dawes 631 frame, 700c, V brake mount (no canti stop), 1 1/8" ahead but fork could be a replacement, down tube shifter mounts, chain pip, vertical drop outs, rear brake cable runs on top of the top tube, integrated seat collar and ring...
