I'll start with this fairly tired example, pics from 10 feet because the paint is pretty bad and the parts group is a mish mash. But it is straight and the rust is just a bit of surface.

Thanks for the link, to be honest I had zero experience with Zeus until this bike came along, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well this stuff works.

Thanks for checking, in my opinion not a top of the range fork.

Addendum: found some pedals which actually fit these cranks (14mm) and got out today for a shakedown ride. Very light and racy geometry, but also quite stable. Rides like a top shelf Italian steel bike, which I guess isn't surprising.

I would need to see a better image of the upper fork legs to tell whether they are pinched or not.

Don't beat yourself up, I've done this (more than once).

Sorry to hear this. Canada is leading the west in state-assisted suicide. Many of us are not on board with that.
