1996 Marin Ultimate Titanium

I ride DMR V8's with Adidas 5Ten shoes and the grip is insanely good. The DMR's have a nice profile as well. If you want to go more bling, less grip with a retro look then the SimWorks Bubbly or Tiny Bubbly is a really nice pedal that I use on my ATB.

For a slow build, the parts are coming along nicely. My idea of a slow build is measured in years, and multiples thereof :)

Looks fab and can’t wait to see it finished.

Ha. Sometimes it just snaps into place. Still tinkering with a few parts.

I don’t have the patience to wait that long to finish a build. I always felt my Xmas presents Xmas eve too.

Some advice please gents;

Picked this limited edition flite titanium up.

Not retro in terms of age but super rare.

This or the Gel ?

If you use the red flite,
you might need to "ti" (😉) it in with red elsewhere on the bike.
This more neutral colour saddle could match up nicely with grips without overwhelming the pure metal polished ti/ polished aluminium look.

The red flite is more age- appropriate obvs.
