Found It!

Whilst clearting the attic to aid removal of a HUGE wasp's nest I found this - my 1971 Clive Stuart large bonk bag. I knew I still had it but couldn't find it anywhere. It was rather grubby so it had a wash and now has a definite age-related patina. Compared to the normal bonk bag it is quite large and was useful BITD for carrying 'stuff' when riding out to events. I bought it from Brian Rourke at the Stoke shop (rode there from Oswestry) and used it to carry all my booty home. It'll still come in useful I'm sure!

It is made from a waterproof material which increases it's usefulness.

A bonk-bag from Stoke. BITD you should have rammed it full of pikelets from across the road of Rourkies :)

They were some of the best, especially the bacon and cheddar.

Don't you mean Staffordshire Oat Cakes? To me, Pikelets are the ones with little holes in. These days I call them Crumpets.

Over hear crumpets are the inch thick ones and pikelets are the flatter ones.

But now people move around more, even the new locals get confused ;-)

How many crumpets could you fit in the bag?
