I picked this one up a few years ago, a first year 92 Zaskar LE. Upon arrival of this bike I noticed someone had crushed the seat tube by inserting a 25.4mm seat post in the frame designed for a 27.0mm sea post and then they just continued to tighten the clamp until it held actually causing a portion of the seat tube to wrap under the other side. Nasty! I used a seat post reamer and managed to save the frame and it worked but I knew it would fail and finally found a near period correct frame for the low miles components that were on the bike when I got it.
