Went for a jolly out on some unexplored (to us) trails right on Chris's doorstep (literally) today, was a really good ride and we thought it might only be about 15 miles, we ended up with a really enjoyable 28 miles

Few pics taken for your perusal and enjoyment....

Sodhouse Lock on the derelict Market Weighton Canal

The remailns of one of the runways at the disused RAF Holme Upon Spalding Moor

Old fire control building?

An original WW2 Hanger

A long abandoned BSO in the middle of know where, strangest thing we have ever found whilst riding I think!

Beautiful woodland near Houghton Hall

Fantastic pics Spud and a bloody good day out I thought :D

Plenty of mud and 28 miles on trails I've never ridden despite them being on my doorstep as Spud said.

Definitely a retrobike ride for next summer there!

Definately mate, i really enjoyed it, shame my chain/cassette issues showed on that hillclimb challenge as i know for a fact i couldve climbed further, i think it needs a little more fine tuning but certainly a ride for next years calendar, thankyou for the comment on the pics, im impressed they came out as well as they did lol

Aye its a nice route, nothing too demanding, and the varying scenery is awesome, open trails and tracks one mile, then tree lined forest routes the next, simply awesome!
