Jimo didnt know you were down from Aberdeen for the day,
Would have talked more,but never got the time as you passed me at warp speed down hill,all the time

great ride, great company, great bikes and a nice pint near the end, perfect. even had a nice drive home via masham

My Granny ring bolts exploding on the first climb. :facepalm:
Having to ride the rest of the way on the 36T middle ring :facepalm:
Finding out that lycra offers bugger all crash protection :facepalm:
Riding with some great guys, meeting some new faces and catching up with others
Stunning scenery when the mist cleared and the sun shone.
A great route, all the uphill was worth it for the downhills
Cheers guys for making a Macretro rider feel welcome, and get yourselves north of the border sometime, there's some fantastic riding up there too

Thanks to all that made it a great retro ride in the hills, it was the first spring ride of the year and what a cracker, first two mechanicals where with the shear power of the riders legs as one ripped the granny ring off and the other...
Well... rumours are "the drug tests" will be back next week all this before the top of the fist hill, its going to be an interesting day.

Now it's time for some easy riding to the pub... yer right it's only a couple of miles on tarmac but two possibly three punchers later we arrive at the pub for a well earned pint and entertainment with Sunday drivers...

While everyone was driving home Myself and Mrs kaya "broke out the bbq" and settled in for some Bambi burgers and beers, with only us on the camp-site it was the perfect end to a great day.
