Rockshox Judy information/advice needed

I had a set of Judy SL forks on a specialized rockhopper back in ‘97 and was blown away by how they transformed the ride and looked great in yellow against the red frame..ahh memories lol
I’m looking for some for my Kona Hahanna but need disc mount type. I’ve seen some on eBay but they look rough which is fine but are they rebuildable internally?
Any idea on the year of these?

They are very rough. I’d bet below the seal the stanctions are toast and the damper blown.

They are 98.

They are on here and also eBay here

I’ve also some worse condition Judy XC but I suspect they have a blown damper.

I don’t think that an old set of Judy’s is a bad thing, I’ve built a few from eBay with good results. Any you pick up are likely to need a good rebuild. Clean, elastomers, seals, service damper, maybe paint - all part of the game and all very doable.
I’d pass on this set. That paint off the arch doesn’t look just chipped, looks corroded. If that’s the case, getting a good surface to paint will be difficult, and if moisture got inside, it makes the service job bad, could have corroded and rusted up the lowers as well. I had one of those. No bueno.

Thanks for the tips, it seems I did well to avoid that particular pair. I really wanted a pair of SL’s and couldn’t find any within my budget so I got hold of a pair of pace rc31 rigid forks instead the natural alternative lol.
