saracen traverse

hi there.got a saracen traverse.looking to build it up but have an issue with the rear brake outer cable.was gonna try and fit a new one but having difficulty in removing old outer cable. where outer cable goes into frame its kinda stuck there.any advice much appreciated.thanks

In here? Cut the inner, and remove it, then tap the ferrule out , using a small drift,with the outer still attached. Or take the outer out of the ferrule and then get some mole grips and twist the ferrule out.

It’ll be one of the internally routed ones at a guess, 1989/90. Try putting it vertically and spray some penetrating oil down the hole. WD40 will probably work.

thanks for info.yes its the internally cable. i wasnt sureif its one cable all the way through or two separate cables?
