Ah yes, so this confirms that I was correct that the 122mm BBs I have are Pro Series with single row bearings, and the 107mm BB is the Hardcore series with double row bearings.

curiously though, the larger bb is a few grams lighter than the smaller one. :shock:

Yep, I think the pro series with the single row bearings was meant to be the weight weenie racer model and was lighter than the hardcore series with the double row bearings. I guess even the shorter hardcore has enough extra bearing in it that it doesn't make up for the lost weight of the shorter spindle.
