Today's Ride

A lovely day for a ride today, the first short-sleeve ride of the year . A favourite 25 mile loop in The Peaks, with a solid 2,600ft of climbing. The 'Peak Average' for climbing is always around 100ft per mile, which is pretty handy when planning rides.

Cracking BH weekend with back to back mornings getting the long overdue miles in.

Saturday was B R I G H T !

Sunday was misty up top but it soon burnt off to leave a magnificent morning before the cloud rolled in again. However, it's dry and not blowing a gale - so win!

The greatest advantage to imaginary racing on a Tuesday morning is being able to muscle the grannies and get to the front for the start...

It's deeper than it looks once you stop sinking. Not sure the grannies will manage.

Twice round the woods to test the stamina...

Passed the pond ( triathlon anyone?)

Into town for urban credentials , collect pension , spectator section and fag in park

And home to a rapturous reception and some catalogue modelling...
