Aluminium? He says. Strange features. Top of seat stays and rear brake etc. Alves would be less abrupt. I like it though.

I thought they used that ovalised tandem tubing on some of their frames?

The guy is a chancer, no way is it aluminium and just because it has an Argos sticker on it doesn't mean it was built by them...

That top tube does look like Reynolds Tandem oval. And the welding doesn’t look like aluminium?
The Argos sticker is just for respraying isn’t it?

I think that's a Reynolds AX2610 ovalized top tube. It's a steel frame - it's too thin for alu and has a seatbinder bolt (not gonna work with alu tube). It's in the Argos blue - their trademark colour.
