Wetwang aftermath

Well I had forewarned the 4 brave riders that joined me just how hard this route was going to be to attempt during winter and it more than lived up to my warning.
Immense amounts of mud, bottom bracket swallowing puddles and mile upon mile of unrideable sections. On the upside the weather was lovely and the views fantastic.

Was a good ride (well most of it ) bit of a slog in the mud but will be a good spring of summer ride . Thanks for leading Chris and for not getting us lost . Il get my few pics up tonight

Thanks Mike.
The ride should of been 28 miles but I never expected to complete it. We did 21.5 miles in the end which included the bail out to the cars as we started to lose the light.

Very tiring ride, the warnings before hand should have been followed I reckon haha, first half was great for me some good climbs and high spirits. But the weight of my karakoram with clay all over was too much for my legs towards the end of the ride. It'll be interesting to see what the routes like in summer if it ever dries out!
