Have spotted a set of these, look to be decent condition, campag freehub, and a little over 300 quid. Apart from being a little on the porky side (which I could live with at that price), anything to be aware of? Anyone used them?
No but I have tried a few similar sets of alloy/carbon rims such as spinergy and hed.
The downside is that they are heavy and the two materials are permanently bonded together.
A simple alloy only rim wheelset is lighter. I know 'aero' is supposed to count for more, but in my experience a lighter wheelset is psychologically better (to a point).
