    2 Yokota Yosemite's in 2 days

Here are some pics of the frame and components as they are now after spending some time on cleaning them up. The fork is with Neko getting documented, he is a suspension fork collector and has never seen one of those in person. He thinks it is elastomer only and will let me know in a day or two...

    2 Yokota Yosemite's in 2 days

I'm always on the hunt for vintage MTB's so a few days back a white 90 Yosemite was posted on CL for a small amount of money. Got ahold of the seller and set up a time to buy it, the bike was all original down to the tires and Turbo saddle, both were in sad shape. I swapped out the tires for...

    The one's that got away...

I like the idea of this. I reluctantly sold one bike I wish I would have kept. The guy gave me crazy money for it so not sad about that, just that it took me over 10 years to get it all right.

    Withdrawn 21” 80’s ATB f+f wanted

Not all MTB's with 21.1mm are cheaper. My 84 Fat with 21.1 quill Bullmoose bar and Box Crown fork.

    93-94 Bontrager

Not sure of the year of this one but it does have the 2 piece seat stays. Original paint was in bad shape along with the stickers being partially removed to repair the rust on the down tube, surface only so was treated, stripped and resprayed black with a Kandy Purple over that then clearcoat. I...

    Show us your Univega

So, the Money Bike is wrapped up using the original parts on it. I did have to buy brifters as the cobbled up ones were not in line with the build. It's a small frame so it does not fit me but I think I have a buyer who wants it for his daughter.

    Karma Resto-mod carbon forks

All bubbly about a carbon fork. Cannot see that from this group. Definitely will need a few bucks to make them worthy of running canti or V along with chopping that wart disc tap off.

    GT Timberline

Almost buttoned up build, not sure of the year as there were no parts that came with the F/F/S. I had a Deore LX group from a Diamondback Accent that was upgraded so now on this heavy beast. I liked the seat cluster and the stem is mostly why I wanted it, of course the crackle paint helps too.

1985(ish) Mongoose ATB - might be a slow burner!

Early Fats with box crown used that size as well, unsure if the Uni's were the same size.

    I landed a Dirt Shark

The few bits I was waiting for are in place now. The Spinner fork was faux fillet brazed and sprayed to have similar effect as the frame and cockpit. I think the first fork I did turned out better but it does the job and appears close to original. I used Deer Head canti's, levers, shifters, rear...

    I landed a Dirt Shark

Minor update. I swapped the tires from the Schwalbe Kojaks to a set of Vee Crown Gem 2.25" and plenty of clearance. Also installed some Deer Head canti's but I have not adjusted yet due to not having the correct fork, still waiting for the threaded one to get here. I still have no clue what year...

    I landed a Dirt Shark

My second attempt at fake fillet brazing. The next one will be spot on.

    I landed a Dirt Shark

So this is my first attempt on matching paint on the fork. I found a color that's really close and will look darker once the clear is applied. I tore strips of tape to achieve the look of ragged edges and body filler on the welds to faux the brazing. This is not the fork that will be on the...
