I am outraged by that GT seller.
How dare they do a close up of that rear mech cable, and then park it in the Granny gear for the photo shoot.
Do they really think people will believe that that bike has been loved. ;) 🤣 🤣
The time is fast approaching, where neighbours will ask if I can check over a new bike, before it's hidden away for Xmas.
Oh lordy, some of those cheap disc brakes are frightening.
Old drop bars get bolted to the wall for tyre storage.
When they are full, the tyres nearest the wall need to go in front of the tyre judge,to plead for their lives. ;)
I think they should drop the price a tad ,there's wee bit of crank rub.
Having said that,it does have Ardents fitted with the valves lined up,and the seller has 100% feedback.
Tempting ;) 🙃
After reading the French retro event thread, my mind naturally turned to Cyclo Cross in Europe :)
Every year I say to myself that I must get across to watch one of the world cup races in Belgium or Holland, then never get anything sorted:rolleyes:🙃
A bit of searching showed that the world...
or..
D. Hammer a tight fitting tube/seatpost down, watch as it gets jammed solid while the dents don't change, then burst in to tears and blame the small child. ;) 👍 🤣 🤣
A long, long time ago(well ,not that long really 🙃), I stacked it on a bike that I had a set of Pace RC 35s fitted to.
Stem must have been a bit slack, as the bars had twisted around.
Having done this in front of my amigos (who were all riding gods), I was feeling a bit silly and rushed the fix...
Am I allowed to say, I really like that rack on the Trek Checkout 🙃 👍
Cause being an old, smelly, sleeping in ditches bikepacker,I keep telling the Yoof ..." Dump those big seatpacks, racks are back"🤣🤣
