Aerospoke wheels - yay or nay?

seen these featured on bikes on a few youtube videos (mostly yanks I must admit)

read up on them on a few forums, opinion seems split down the middle like marmite - people either love them or hate them.

cue lots of "errorspoke" comments etc

I kind of like how they look but they seem damn expensive. Also I see some people running one only on the front wheel. Why?

Any comments/advice appreciated, don't shoot me down in flames
