another help me identify my 1950s bike

ok. it's got no stickers other than the 531 sticker. benelux gears gb sports brakes gb bars stem and seat post brooks saddle etc. any thoughts about identity. it has 188 stamped on bottom bracket

I am now thinking it is most likely a Percy Stallard from 1956 based on the frame number. I stand to be corrected though

Doesn't appear to have Stallard rear dropouts though. When did he stop using them? By 1956 they may have been outdated?
