Says Hoffmann Made In England on it....not sure if bike related? Maybe some sort of drive shaft type thing...?? :?

Yep did a bit of research last night and sussed them out...thinking this might be something to do with a cycle motor....?? It came in a box with loads of old bike bits including fixed sprockets, etc, but among them there were some that could have been motor sprockets....

Could similarly be from a rotary table, but you get the jist. Not bicycle-ly
 
Its a 1970s Hermoginator Mk IV. Just missing the grub nut and forced flange derriere bolt.

It was used to put the industrial pink in Instant Whip.

They survived into the 1990's, but only just, by creating the fluorescent bits at raves.

Drive shaft bearing for a Hot Womble. Later replaced by the type X9998234234092342 drive shaft which was powered by Fairy dust to improve reliability.
